نگاهی به مفهوم گورو در عرفان هندویی از منظر شنکره

چکیده

گورو در عرفان هندویی استاد و اصلی است که مراتب معنوی را پشت‌سر گذاشته، وادی‌های پر پیچ و خم آن را درنوردیده و به بالاترین مرتبۀ بینش معنوی یعنی مکشه نائل شده است. در طریقه‌های رهبانی هندویی، گورو تجسد خداوند، سنت، تعالیم طریقت و واسطۀ فیض الهی است که به سنت جان می‌بخشد، منشأ و بستر حیات نوین معنوی، کانون تقدس و رابط سالک با قوای متعالی‌تر است. بر همین اساس نقش وی در تعلیم و تربیت مرید واجب، و از آداب سلوک به شمار می‌آید و می‌تواند هدایت و ارشاد کسی را که قصد پیمودن این مسیر را دارد، بر عهده بگیرد، او را از عقبات سخت سلوک گذر دهد و تا رسیدن به سر منزل مقصود دلیل راه وی باشد. وی شایستۀ تکریم و احترام است و اطاعت محض از دستورات او، هر چند خلاف عرف باشد، برای رسیدن به مقصود نهایی ضروری به شمار می‌آید. از این روست که برای تبیین جریان سلوک عرفانی در این سنت، بررسی نقش گورو از اهمیت ویژه‌ای برخوردار است. در این نوشتار مفهوم گورو و حوزۀ شناختی و معنایی آن بر اساس متون مقدس و منابع ادبی و عرفانی هندویی بخصوص در نگاه شنکره و آثار او بررسی شده است.

چکیده [English]

The Guru in Hindu mysticism is a master who has traversed the spiritual stages, has struggled through its difficult levels and attained the highest level of spiritual insight, namely, the mokśa. In Hindu monastic orders, the Guru is the incarnation of God, tradition, teachings, the path and the mediator of the divine grace that gives birth to the tradition. He is the source of the new spiritual life, the center of holiness, and the mediator of the seeker with supreme power. Accordingly, his role is significant in the education of the disciples, and being obedient to him is obligatory. He can take the guidance of someone who intends to follow the path, pass him through difficult journey, until he reaches to ultimate truth. Therefore, it is important to examine the role of Guru in order to explain the mystical journey in these traditions. In this study, the concept of Guru has been surveyed in Hindu texts especially from the Ŝankara's point of view.
